Children's Director

Joanie Galloway

Over the past several years Kelleytown Baptist Church has been home to me and my family.  Chad and I will be married 16 years this December and we have two beautiful boys Tucker age 12 and Ty age 8. They are the greatest blessing the Lord has ever given to us, and we love spending time together as a family!  We are thankful to be a part of a church family that seeks to serve him.

Nine years ago I began my role as an Early Childhood Associate, when my oldest child began preschool.  Working with children and having the opportunity to share Gods love with them has always been my passion. Whenever I was asked to consider the position for Children’s Director here at Kelleytown,  I have to admit it wasn’t exactly in “my plans.”  However, after carefully and sincerely taking it to the Lord in prayer, I felt an overwhelming call in this direction.  He has time and time again confirmed through prayer and scripture that “For has the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And my thoughts than your thoughts ( Isaiah 55:9);" therefore, after lots of prayer I am excited to begin this journey he has set before me.

My goal is to share his love with all children and my prayer is they will come to know him through this.  There is nothing that brings more joy to my heart than to see a child give their life to Christ, and to develop a lifelong relationship with him!  I want to be a tool for God to use in the life of every child that comes through our doors.

Kindergarten Director

Tammy Johnson

The Lord placed the call of serving children on my life many years ago and I am so very thankful for that. I have been teaching preschool for 20 years. My desire is that children will grow to love the Lord and learn academics and fun things along the way. I am married and have two beautiful teenagers. God has blessed me tremendously with a wonderful and loving family. We are also thankful to be a part of such a wonderful church family.

“The Lord is my light and my salvation-whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life-of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1
